SW Florida Kayak Fishing

I have some very fond memories of Kayak Fishing in Florida on my old yellow Tarpon 160.seatrout weakfish speckled DOA shrimp kayak fishing www.bucketlistfishing.com florida marco island gulf of mexico powerpro

Like this seatrout I got on a DOA shrimp near Marco Island. There was always so many species to target and the idea that you never know what will bite at any time is so exciting. That one was in Tarpon Bay, and I remember like it was yesterday there were dolphins feeding nearby in the shallow water making huge commotions.

Here is one of a redfish near the same area that swallowed a rootbeer terroreyz the second it hit the water up under the mangroves. Those reds are great fighters no mater what the size is.

My kayak has been on many adventures with me over the years. An old buddy of mine and i were throwing metals at these pods of mackeral that were blowing up on anything that would fit into their mouths. As you can see between his legs we were catching a bunch. Afterwards we would trade our Jamaican detailer friend our catch for car washes.

I am ready for some new adventures.
