This book by Captain Ken Daubert was a fantastic read and is the reason I started kayak fishing about a decade ago. It is an easy read , and well worth the time if you think that you may want to get into it also.
I remember it well, being involved in most things that kids do in their early 20′s. Staying up all night, drinking and partying. Along with working my ass off. My now wife and I (fiance then) took a day trip to Lums Pond state park in Bear, Delaware. On a whim I brought a fishing rod and tackle box. We rented a rowboat and I set the spinning rod to troll a rapalla while I rowed. It wasn’t long after that I heard the drag going off and landed about a 3lb large mouth. Something clicked when i caught that fish and it just felt right. I have since spent who knows how many hours or dollars on this hobby.
I purchased this book shortly after and am glad I did.
